Mystic Whistler

Whistler This Week

From the natural to the supernatural
Halloween night is the time most usually associated with the eerie and the paranormal in the Resort town of Whistler.
However, the pristine and breathtaking natural beauty of the area, together with the open-minded and free thinking nature of the community, have served to attract many individuals with a definite slant towards the supernatural over the years.
Clairvoyant Kelly Oswald also finds Whistler to be natural spot for her work in the realms of psychic experience.
A fifth generation North Vancouverite, Oswald spent most of her life in Whistler, and said the surroundings aid in developing psychic abilities- the reason she teaches various clairvoyant and psychic courses at MY Millennium Place.
The classes represent a satellite school in the resort of her North Vancouver West Coast School of Mystic Arts.
“I’ve been teaching for quite a while in the rec centers and around the city,” she said. “I then began coming up to Whistler and teaching classes at Myrtle Philip, and doing tarot card readings at the Family Fun Fest and the Whistler Farmers Market.”
The beauty of the area, according to Oswald, is perfect for her classes that help people develop their own psychic abilities.
“Whistler adds to psychic development,” she said. “It is a natural environment, and our psychic abilities are completely natural as well.”
“Then closer we are to nature, the closer we are to who we really are, and the more we will trust our own intuition,” she said.
Oswald offers one-time classes in tarot reading, psychic development, looking at omens and spirit communication, along with personal trot and psychic readings right at your hotel.
“The good thing about my classes is they are one shot deals…you don’t need to come back, because it is a complete course in an evening,” she said.
From the natural to the supernatural, Whistler is a magical…and mystical place the whole year around.
