The community of Whistler is honoured to have Dr. Deepak Chopra and
Dr. David Simon along with the Chopra centre staff in Whistler for the
world renowned Seduction of Spirit 6 day Meditation Retreat. In
conjunction with the retreat, we are hosting a momentous gathering on the
evening of August 2nd at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler for the purpose of
bringing together the communities throughout the Sea to Sky corridor along
with over 300 attendees from the retreat who come from all around the
world in order to support and expand community awareness and cooperative
participation in creating a new human reality.
It is Dr. Chopra's fervent intention to create a critical mass to effect
the change necessary to create a better world. Recognizing change cannot
be reached by expounding a theory but by a "call to action", Dr. Chopra
has created a world-wide movement which inspires individuals to actually
participate in co-creating change. As Dr. Chopra states, "it must be a
process that provides guidance, tools and support systems necessary to
insure sustainability and success".
We invite you to accept Dr. Chopra's "call to action" and become the
change you wish to see in the world! Join us in Whistler.

Many people have asked me how they might more actively participate
in the creation of a critical mass of consciousness. Gandhi said,
"You must be the change you want to see in the world". If you want
to "be the change" in your community, I invite you to begin by
hosting meetings to talk about how you can create a New Humanity
through personal and social transformation. Interested individuals
can agree to meet once or twice a month to share a common vision and
achieve many goals. I will provide suggested topics and woksheets on
the Alliance for a New Humanity's website to help facilitate the
conversations.Your meetings and contact information will be listed
in a Directory on the site and in the coming months, activities
initiated by these meetings all over the world will be reported to
encourage others. Together we can make it happen.
